About Us
United Church Outreach Ministry (UCOM) is a community-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to providing resources for living and hope for life to our neighbors in need. For 40 years, UCOM has empowered individuals and families in Greater Grand Rapids through access to healthy food, essential services, and life-enriching programs.
Our programs include the Healthy Choice Food Pantry, Culture of Health initiatives, gardening programs, tax assistance, work skills training, and community connections that support individuals at every stage of life. Through strong partnerships, dedicated volunteers, and the generosity of our supporters, UCOM is committed to fostering a thriving, dignified, and food-secure community.
