My name is Ashley Melder and I am a mortgage loan originator for United Bank servicing the Grandville, Jenison, Hudsonville, Holland, Zeeland and Allendale areas. My passion is helping my customers achieve their dream of finding a place to call home. I focus on providing real solutions through great customer service by making the process as simple and enjoyable as possible. I started WorkSmart in 2008 to help businesses maximize the use of their data.  We create custom database software using MS Access, SharePoint and .NET.  I've been programming for 30+ years and I'm a 4-time Microsoft MVP Award recipient (Access) & frequent speaker at tech events.  Our company is BBB A+ Rated and a Microsoft Silver Partner.

On a personal note, I'm married with 3 children and have lived in West Michigan for over 15 years.  I'm a Board Member of the Grandville-Jenison Chamber, Board Member of Kenowa AMBUCS and also started Feed the Fight Grand Rapids to help those on the front lines of the COVID19 pandemic.  We purchase meals from locally-owned restaurants (providing needed revenue) while feeding healthcare workers and others on the front lines of the pandemic.  I love networking, so please reach out on LinkedIn (http://www.linkedin.com/in/andytabisz) or through the Chamber!

Christine has over 20 years of experience in marketing, team leadership, client relations, and sales with companies such as Herman Miller, Amway International, Spectrum Health, Disability Advocates of Kent County, and Avid Marketing.
 
She excels at providing strategic counsel and training in marketing, helping organizations to tell their impact story, and providing educated opinions on which tactics will work best to grow their organization. Then, if needed, she and her team are able to walk alongside the client as their marketing department, while staying focused on the ROI. 

In addition to my MBA and MSA, I am an Enrolled Agent (EA) with the IRS.   This means that I am licensed to practice before the IRS.   I am a Certified Tax Representative Consultant (CTRC) and a member of the National Tax Practitioner Institute (NTPI-Fellow).   

My business specializes in accounting and tax.  Accounting work includes bookkeeping, analysis, financial reports and consulting.  Tax work includes preparation of individual and business, strategic tax planning, and resolution work.   

I have worked in this field for over 17 years now and have been in practice by myself since 2012.
 

As owner and principle of My Insurance Lady, I run a thriving Medicare, Life and Health Insurance agency, with emphasis on advising individuals retiring or turning 65 aging into Medicare.

Additionally, I serve the younger crowd ages 1 to 64 of individuals, families, and self-employed needing Health, Supplement and Life Insurance. My company's success reflects my insistence that each client deserves a high bar of excellent advice and service and I make sure to deliver exactly that. 

I am a results-focused and collaborative person with an enthusiasm for building professional relationships and providing world-class service to clients and stakeholders. Working with people to solve problems is a passion of mine.
