Meals on Wheels Western Michigan - Emergency Meal Delivery

• Follow MOWWM staff guidance, which may change with the needs of each client

• Follow a delivery route and instructions starting and ending at 2900 Wilson Ave Suite 500 Grandville, MI 

• Maintain a positive and pleasant environment with clients, staff and other volunteers 

• Return any refused or not at home emergency meal boxes and complete route paperwork 

Work Environment

Work is performed independently, primarily outdoors, standing, walking and sitting in a vehicle. Volunteers will work independently to lift up to 20 lbs. Volunteers will use personal vehicles to drive to each stop on a route, follow route instructions for each delivery, walk to a client’s door, talk with clients, and leave an emergency meal with a client or caregiver.

Requirements

• Personal vehicle
• Drivers  must be 18+ and passengers can be any age

Parking/Loading Details

• Please park in the lot off of White Street, enter through the back  ramp, and check in at the tent to get your paperwork
• Once checked in you will be navigated to the warehouse doors- please stay in your car as volunteers load up the correct number of emergency meal boxes
