Grandville Jenison Chamber Membership Groups Application 

CRITERIA:
· Must be a member of the Grandville Jenison Chamber of Commerce and in good financial standing.
· Apply for Ambassador Program Membership and be approved by the Chamber Board and Staff.*
· Required commitment of one calendar year term, with the option to renew.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES AND GUIDELINES:
· Attend Chamber Events including Ribbon Cuttings as frequently as possible.
· Work with the Chamber to ensure members are engaged in Chamber activities and benefits through interaction at events or member visits.
· Work with the Chamber on Community Event planning. This includes Memorial Day, Summer Music, Expos, Golf Outing Etc.
· Attend the 80% of scheduled Ambassador meetings. Typically once a month.
 
PURPOSE AND MISSION
· Strengthen member engagement by serving as welcoming, knowledgeable representatives of the Chamber
· Foster meaningful connections between new and existing members to support business growth
· Promote Chamber programs, events, and initiatives through active outreach and relationship‑building
· Provide a positive first impression for prospective members and visitors
· Support ribbon cuttings, networking events, and community activities as visible Chamber advocates
· Encourage collaboration and communication that enhances the overall member experience
· Uphold the Chamber’s mission by championing a vibrant, inclusive, and connected business community
 
*The Chamber reviews all applications for the Ambassador Program, CEO Roundtable, and Leads Groups with the goal of creating diverse, well‑balanced groups. Applications are evaluated based on several factors to ensure each group remains collaborative and effective. Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee placement; acceptance is based on group composition, space availability, and program needs.
