Buck Creek Run began in 1974 as a way to add a healthy event to the 4th of July events and get people active. The course winds around the neighborhoods of Grandville and ends at the Grandville Middle School. The Buck Creek Run proceeds provide scholarships for the Visser Family YMCA Impact Achievers Program - an afterschool program for Grandville\, Jenison and Hudsonville middle-school students.
