SUMMARY:Michigan Truth Tour - An Educated Michigan
DESCRIPTION:On behalf of the Grandville Jenison Chamber\, we are inviting you to participate in an upcoming Town Hall on Thursday\, May 17 6 pm 7:30 pm In partnership with Bridge Magazine\, the nonpartisan and nonprofit winner of "Michigan's Best Newspaper" in 2016 and 2017\, We have volunteered to convene a group of 25 people for a 45 to 60 minute discussion entitled An Educated Michigan. This meeting will provide participants with an opportunity to discuss their perspective of Michigan's education system: how would you review our education system? What changes could make it better? What should representatives elected in 2018 prioritize to improve educational achievement for Michigan students?\n\n \n\nThis event is a part of Bridge Magazine's Michigan Truth Tour\, a statewide roadshow attempting to ground the upcoming state election in fact and discussion of the state's most important issues. Throughout 2018\, their Michigan Truth Squad is visiting more than 100 communities across the state to ensure all residents have equal access to reliable information they can use to prepare to vote. To learn more about the publication\, visit www.bridgemi.com. \n\n \n\n \n\nBridge Magazine is published by the Center for Michigan\, a nonpartisan "think-and-do" tank striving to be the state's "citizenship company."
