DESCRIPTION:Meals on Wheels Western Michigan's 2nd Annual March for Meals Community Walk & 5k is a family-friendly event for people of all ages and abilities to come together and support the health and independence of older adults in Western Michigan.\n\nWe are excited to be adding a timed 5k to the mix this year and to be hosting the walk/run at beautiful Millennium Park. The walk is a 2-mile loop and the 5k run is on that same loop\, just extending a bit farther into the park. Dogs are welcome\, so be sure to bring your furry friends!\n\nPacket pickup and festivities will begin at 9:00 am at Grant Pavilion\, with a brief welcome at 10:00 am\, and the walk and race taking off at 10:15 am. This event is rain\, snow\, or shine! So be sure to dress for the weather.\n\nWe are also adding a virtual option this year. Join us from afar wherever you are! For $30 we will send you a race packet including a t-shirt. Map out your own 2-mile walk or 5k run and join in the fun by submitting photos and tagging us on social.\n\nWe hope you also join us in donating or fundraising for Meals on Wheels Western Michigan.
