Need government to understand what local businesses own/need

Target businesses to open here. Possible Sub-committee?  Demographics currently not published or shared.

Chamber celebrating small business success yearly.

Support local businesses by using local businesses.  Changing the mindset of everyone including businesses to use and purchase local.

Show value – Why here?  What’s in it for you?

Business development plan for new businesses.

Tell/Share success stories.  How?

·         Business in a box

·         Mentor

·         Large employers. Getting them local.

·         Newspapers involved

·         Radio stations/personnel involved – get them passionate about our community and local first.

·         Billboards

·         Tv

·         Internet – where to go to get “’s answered

·         Phone app

·         Marketing committee

Destination – business around a major destination will thrive.  Store fronts fill on their own if there is an attraction to bring customers out.  Millennium Park II in undeveloped area.  FREE attraction for families.

  • Establish a specific process to help start up new businesses in our area.
